What makes us different?

Whether your pet needs a daily walk, one or multiple visits in a day or a friend to sleepover, let us help you create the best arrangement of services so that we can provide the care your pet wants and needs. Our visits can be for 30 minutes, 45 minutes or more, again, depending on what is best for your animal companion.

We know trusting a stranger to care for your pet(s) and your home can be a challenge for most people. We want to eliminate this concern as much as possible. So, not only is Kritter Kare bonded & insured, but we utilize our Kare-An-Tee™ program that requires all sitters to clock-in & out when caring for your pets. Plus, our system tracks the sitter’s location to ensure that we are at your home for as long as we promise to be! 

Every effort is made to match a client with sitters that are closest in proximity. A mileage rate of $.50 a mile is applied to all visits up to 20 miles one way. Visits that are more than 20 miles one-way, an additional fee will be applied to each visit for every additional 5 miles traveled (example: 20.1-25 miles = $7 mileage fee, 25.1-30 miles = $9 mileage fee, etc).

Certain holidays do include a surcharge of $8 a sit. Those holidays include: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day & Thanksgiving Day. The company is closed on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, however, some sitters are available to take sits. If those sits are honored, the holiday surcharge will be applied. It is imperative that if you need holiday pet care, you contact us as soon as possible since we book up quickly.
